Woody
Woody -10.jpg

Woody Deguchi refused to continue with his piano lessons in fourth grade and turned to guitar playing a few years later.

He started playing 80s music with his junior high school band in New York and later moved to Kyoto, Japan where he continued playing electric guitar throughout his college years.

His main influences are Andy Summers, the Edge, and Brian Setzer. Woody usually plays his red Strat which has been modified to "go to eleven" and loves his Matchless amp mostly because it lights up.

Woody can put a smile on the faces in a crowd when he plays with enthusiasm and pure joy.  He clearly loves to perform and it shines brightly in his stage presence.  There's no doubt he has the time of his life while performing on stage!
