CHROMATA

Mark Sochan started playing the bass guitar at the age of 11 when he formed a band with his brothers and his best friend in elementary school.  The band was called The Rebel Rousers and they delighted many live audiences with their youthful energy playing rockabilly and country tunes.  

 

He restarted his bass playing in the San Francisco bay area with a band called the HackJammers – entertaining music lovers and dancers in the San Francisco area with their mix of classic rock, funk, and the latest chart busting pop songs.  Mark has a love for a wide variety of music with a particular passion for funk, rock, and Motown.

 

He has been inspired by bass players such as Flea from Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nathan Watts (Stevie Wonder Band), and James Jamerson (Motown Funk Brothers legend).

Mark’s high energy and passion for playing bass comes through in his onstage presence in live shows.
